Information status varies. Weather forecasts are Open-Meteo model data for approximate place points. Verified announcements and hotlines come from published database records; some flood, road, and shelter examples elsewhere remain illustrative or unverified.

Understand the information
- Confirmed observation
- A verified published report at a recorded point, extent, or road segment. Conditions elsewhere may differ.
- Historical susceptibility · unavailable
- A source-defined hazard scenario needs a validated, permitted dataset. Earlier flood reports are shown separately in Flood history.
- Rainfall context
- Model rainfall at an approximate place point. It does not establish flooding or road passability.
- Insufficient data
- Missing sources, measurements, or geometry leave a question unanswered. Missing information does not establish safety.
Published estimates are labeled Estimated information. Independent administrator review does not scientifically validate a flood model.
Data coverage and limits
Waiting for public records.
Assessment method and unavailable calculations
This page checks public publication status, verification, timestamps, geometry structure, and record-supplied place names. It does not check whether a point lies inside a barangay boundary or infer flooding from rainfall or elevation. Counts describe records; several reports may describe one incident.
Area and road-length exposure: unavailable. Validated barangay boundaries and permitted hazard polygons are missing. Polygon overlap and accurate metric area/length calculations require validated topology, geographic identifiers, dataset dates and scenarios, and license approval. Affected population and household totals are unavailable.

Bulacan municipality map
Geographic roads and waterways with verified published BSAFE overlays when available · no administrative boundaries
Roads, rivers, and place labels come from OpenStreetMap data. Municipality points are approximate GeoNames place references and do not mark boundaries. BSAFE has no flood or road-condition overlay connected.
Basemap tiles: OpenFreeMap. Place references: GeoNames (CC BY 4.0).
Map information
This area displays verified and published records. BSAFE has no map records connected yet.
Boundary layers are unavailable because verified municipality and barangay polygons are not integrated.
Surface elevation context
Elevation context is off. Historical/modelled susceptibility data is unavailable.
Turn on elevation context to inspect the selected approximate place point.
Historical susceptibility describes a source-defined scenario rather than current flooding or a forecast. It is unavailable because BSAFE has no validated, permitted hazard polygon dataset. Administrator publication alone does not establish scientific validation or reuse permission. Susceptibility geometries are withheld until those checks are complete.
The colored rectangle covers only a sourced raster crop around six GeoNames points; it does not show municipal or barangay boundaries. Copernicus GLO-90 is a digital surface model that includes buildings and vegetation. Zero-valued cells are masked because they can represent water fill. Colors are surface height, not hazard classes. Model height alone cannot establish flooding or water depth.

Review steps for before, during, and after flooding, evacuation preparation, floodwater exposure, leptospirosis prevention, and emergency communication. General guidance is not individualized emergency advice.
Emergency alert preferences
Choose verified locations and alert categories, then explicitly enable browser notifications if this environment has push delivery configured. No account, name, email, phone number, or GPS location is collected.
Delivery depends on browser, device, network, push provider, and BSAFE worker availability. A request accepted by a push service is not proof that a device displayed it. Continue using official LGU and emergency communication channels.
Notification capability
Checking browser support…
On supported iPhones and iPads, Web Push requires an eligible BSAFE app added to the Home Screen. An ordinary Safari tab does not provide the same background behavior.
Keep BSAFE within reach
Checking installation support…
Manual installation guidance
Android and desktop: use your browser’s Install app option when available. iPhone and iPad: open BSAFE in Safari, choose Share, then Add to Home Screen. Browser support varies.
The unguessable ownership credential stays in this browser. If browser storage is cleared, BSAFE cannot recover an anonymous subscription or expose it without that credential.
Privacy, storage, and retention
BSAFE stores only selected administrative identifiers, alert categories, consent and lifecycle times, a one-way ownership-credential hash, and a one-way request fingerprint used for rate limiting. It does not use these preferences for unrelated tracking or analytics. Active preferences expire after one year unless updated. Revoked preference details are removed immediately; a minimal revoked record may remain for up to 30 days for abuse prevention and lifecycle integrity.
Emergency updates and suspension notices
Read the issuing authority, effective time, geographic coverage, and original source for every published record.

Flood safety before, during, and after flooding
These general steps come from public health and emergency guidance. Follow current instructions from your LGU and emergency services when they differ.
Before flooding
- Know your evacuation route and monitor official warnings.
- Prepare water, ready-to-eat food, medicines, a light, batteries, phone power, hygiene supplies, and protected documents.
- Move valuables and electrical equipment higher when it is safe to do so.
During flooding
- Do not walk, swim, or drive through floodwater.
- Keep away from fallen wires, wet electrical equipment, and buildings with flood damage.
- Evacuate when instructed. Turn off electricity only if officials advise it and you can reach the controls without entering water.
After flooding
- Return only after authorities say it is safe.
- Wear boots and gloves during cleanup, cover cuts, and wash exposed skin with clean water and soap.
- Discard food touched by floodwater and have damaged electrical systems checked by a qualified professional.
Safe drinking water
Use bottled, boiled, or properly treated water when authorities say tap water may be unsafe. Boiling does not remove toxic chemicals; follow local health instructions for the specific hazard.
Floodwater exposure and leptospirosis
Avoid contact with floodwater when possible. Wear protective footwear and gloves, wash exposed skin, and seek medical care promptly if you become unwell after exposure. This is general guidance, not a diagnosis.
Evacuation and household supplies
Keep essential supplies portable and adapt them for children, older people, disability needs, pets, and regular medicines. Leave early when authorities direct an evacuation.
Household emergency kit checklist

Report flooding or a road hazard
Share a recent observation privately with authorized BSAFE reviewers. A community report does not become an official warning unless it passes the established review, verification, and publication process.
This form is not an emergency dispatch service. For immediate danger, contact local emergency services. Do not enter floodwater or place yourself in danger to collect information.
ABOUT BSAFE
BSAFE (Bulacan Safety and Flood Emergency) is a demonstration web portal prototype for presenting preparedness content. It does not provide verified or live flood telemetry. All operational information on this page is demonstration content; it is not an emergency response tool.
Vulnerability Context of Bulacan
BSAFE has no connected monitoring service or verified boundary dataset. This prototype cannot confirm local flood conditions or issue evacuation instructions.
